Picking up the Pen
It was always so terrifying when looking at a blank page to start writing. I had all the pieces in front of me - interviews, qoutes, pictures, videos - and it was up to me to create something worthwhile. But as time has gone on, I have found the easiest thing
to do is just pick up the pen and write. Things begin to fall into place, and what emerges is story. A story that belongs to the people, a story that can move them, change them. I am a feature writer, and I am a journalist. Thank you for taking the time to read my work.
